I am so glad that KL is so near to Singapore. It's only a 5hour bus ride there, so i foresee many more short trips there. Since the cafe scene is so happening as well. So so many chic hipster cafes which are packed at late hours even though they were hidden. The cafe scene is really crazy now.
We took a break from cafe hopping and had a darn good dinner at Tony Rama. The portions are so big that the both of us shared a meal despite the stares given by the servers. HAHA.
We also had Teh Tarik ice cream at the Inside Scoop. Super Yummz. Loving the polaroid wall. There's a high possibility of the Nomad having something like that too. #whatdoyousay
Supposedly the best place for brunch - Antipodean cafe. The food was given in a very generous portion and the service is really quick. However, one point observed was that their menu (which consisted of way too many choices - about 40ish choices i would say) was on a chalkboard at the entrance which caused alot of human traffic at the entrance which is not a very good idea. Coffee was so so but the service at Antipodean was way more superior compared to the other places in Msia.
Loving our rented gopro. We will definately get one soon, to videolog down our work for our kickstarter project. And of course to take many more pictures on our many more travels to come :P
Us having a ton of dun at sunway lagoon's pool party. And once again, the gopro bonded us togther with other gopro users. Really cool.
#onlywithagopro. Such a nice underwater pictureeeeeeeeee and my sexay boyfriend HEHE
My favorite cafe out of all that we visited. VCR. We chanced upon it because it was just nearby our place. We tried their potato waffles and coffee and both of it blew our minds. Their coffee tasted somewhat similar to the coffee at lovers coffee in cambodia and it brings back so much nostalgia.
Needless to say, their potato waffles is just darn unique and super pleasing to the tummy. Served with eggs ben and mushroom, it is just the best savory waffle I've ever had. When the egg yolk goes into one of the squares and ate with a mushroom, together with a dose of mushrooms, it tastes like a little bit of heaven with all the blends.
Also I'm not one for brewed coffee, but the coffee they served from the Kalitha wave was just damn good lah. Not too bitter, with a very clean taste. I drank more brewed coffee then than I did in my whole life.
They also have a really nice outdoor seating with fake grass which we used to camwhore. We will be backkkk!!
Even though we only had a really short trip (and did not do anything much), but it was a really good trip - many more to come I would say :D
